The Times is impressive in it’s efforts to put negative spin on even the most positive news. For example, today’s headline:
“Upbeat Signs Hold Cautions for the Future”
Usually upbeat signs hold evidence of upbeat trends. But the times is able to find a cloud in every silver lining that appears during a Republican administration. After listing all the positive economic trends, they state, “For every encouraging sign, there is an explanation and concern for the future.”
That’s right, if we find good news, we’ll find an explanation for it that will explain why it’s actually bad news and why you should be concerned.
